Looking to pick up these. Got to use a polarising filter the other day. Blown away. Tbh don't know why I was shocked as my sunglasses have it

Really would need either a one size fits all or 67mm+77mm
77mm is covers my 10-22mm
67mm covers my 35mm and 100mm
My sigma is 107mm (If I recall unfortunately!)

I take it for grads a square one size fits all is best

How about for polarising? Is a circle best as you can rotate it easier?

Recommendations please.. I'm not sure if it's worth paying more or if they are all the same in terms of results

For polarizers a regular round filter is best for general use. Make sure it is a circular polarizer. I use B+W f-pro filters.

Buy a 77mm and a step up adapter. Works out much cheaper.

For graduated filters these have to be in a square filter holder so you can adjust the height. Avoid Cokin filerss (cheap and nasty, colour cast issues). Lee filters are very good but hi-tech are getting much better.

Forget a filter for the 120-300. A CPL will rob 2 stops of light which you simply can't afford.

Yeah I looked at the 120-300mm.. Not an option. Not worth it
Also didn't think of the height adjustment. Makes perfect sense.

So a 77mm with a converter. Didn't think of that.
Lee are the top price so it seems. Maybe hi tech are worth a look
