I'm considering the Polaroid Snap camera for my wife. She's always fancied one and whilst i'm sure it'll be used a few times and then thrown away it'll be nice to have for the odd time and to have a keep sake as we rarely print out photos.

However i never realised how expensive the paper is. For the 3x2 sheets it works out at £23 for 50. That's over 50p per picture which seems exceptionally expensive.

Is this just the nature of the beast or are there any other options which are decent quality?

By the time you add a printer, photo paper and ink I don't think that would be very high. Problem is of course that you have to pay for bad images too.
Andi.

Yeah i think thats my worry, it seems to be digital with a built in card so it'd be great if they had a screen so you could check prior to printing. Suppose that ruins the spontinuity of it though
