Polaroid

Greetings.

My girlfriend has said she would like a polaroid camera so I was thinking of buying her one.
Has anyone got any advise on these? I know nothing about them.

She shown me a picture a while back and I am sure it was the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Instant - any advise would be great.

I got a fuji film instax for my wedding to use for the guest book as a bit of retro fun, it was a great piece of kit but massive I really liked the output and enjoyed using it but sold it on a few months after the wedding as the running costs were pretty large!

The fuji stuff is pretty much the only way to go these days as the film is still in production by Fuji where as the polaroid stuff that is available is pretty expensive. Personally unless you really want the physical prints your better off using a digital camera and a post processing process.
