Evening all.

Does anyone have any good pointers for practice/revision of the above? I've been doing some on-line psychometric tests and trying to find others but some are really hardcore. The examples I was given with the short-listing letter are quite reasonable.

In short I am going to try not to fall into the trap of reading too much into things (Specifically in the information assessment type sections) and all the other general examination Dos and Do Nots. Will also be brushing up on those words whose spellings tend to catch me out.

Any pointers would be golden, cheers!

Starting posts with 'Evening all', starting conversations with 'ello ello ello, whats all this then', and watching as many episodes of dixon of dock green as possible should sort you reet out.

Had old Bergerac on the TV, he went in one end of the tunnel and came out the other in a completely different part of the island to the actula exit!

I should be alight on the observation then eh?

Pro tip - if there are four guys lined up and one is black, it's the black guy you hit with your baton.

Learn the handshakes else you'll get nowhere.

Brush up on your sarcasm. For example

Question 1

You catch a man driving at 40 miles a hour in a 30 miles an hour zone. Do you say to the driver

A) Good evening Sir. Do you realise what speed you were driving at?

or

B) Good evening Mr Schumacher...............

Its not going to be rocket science for an "initial recruitment test". Unless the police have changed their recruitment policy recently you should be fine to pass as long as you have an average intelligence.
