Policy based routing via Asus Merlin / RT-N66u

Hi all,

In simple terms I want to achieve a device on my network to be routed via a VPN and everything else as normal.

I have been looking into policy based routing and it seems it is possible on the N66u with merlin firmware but seems very complicated with lots of scripts etc.

Is there any experts on the the subject who have achieved this or know anything about it? Thanks.

You might find it easier to use DD-WRT on the N66U rather than Merlin, I found when it came to setting up custom routing and vlans, DDWRT was far superior

Be aware, flashing the RT-N66U with DD-WRT is a time consuming and often painful exercise. I also found my router was more stable with Merlin's firmware. However your mileage may vary.
