I was on another forum and a few of the users had start and commented on a thread about OCER'S selling new items with the security seals broken its my understanding these seals are obviously supposed to be whole for security purposes.

What would you guys do if you bought such an item I would get a replacement as I couldn't be sure mines wasn't second hand?

Do you have a link to the said forum? I'd like to know the actual full details.

The only time we sell 'second hand' is when the item is listed as "B-Grade" which is pretty obvious as it is in the title of the description and in the B-Grade section of the website.

I'm pretty sure one of the items I bought recently had been opened before - the seal was clearly "2nd hand". I think it was my PSU.

I don't really care as long as the item is ok, though.

That's not entirely true, I've just received a waterblock from yourselves sold as 'new' and It really wasn't in great shape :/

Bailey has offered a refund but now that the 7950's are EOL I don't really have a choice but to keep it.

I bought some water cooling fluid a few months ago, one of them had been opened (the tamper proof seal had been broken and there was dried water Cooling fluid all down the thread and tamper proof ring) and a bit of it had been used as well. :/

I actually had the same issue with a PSU I brought last week. Everything inside looked okay and its working fine - I just assumed it was opened to check everything was all inside?

An item i recently ordered had a broken seal however the graphics card still had plastic wrapping stuck to it so just presumed it was probably a special promotion that was removed from the box as it all looked new.
Haven't had a chance to use it yet after discovering my old IDE serial optical was not compatible so have ordered a sata optical for new system so i can load on drivers and windows etc...

My watercooling kit had been opened when I recieved that, however everything was there I just thought as it came with quite a lot of different parts that OC had opened it to make sure everything is there.

Not had any issue with hardware being opened yet but have read on these forums about people receiving cpu's that still had thermal paste on them, not sure if there what 8pack has used to test his rigs or not.

I have emailed you the link 5ub and as far I have seen there was no mention of b grade items as I know those are used but tested working :)

Thank you, I have replied there. Sounds like the EVGA guy was unlucky, as for the processor guy it seems like he got an OEM Processor which does not have seals and do not come in a Retail box.
