Polishing plexi ddc pump top?

Hi I've got two ddc pump tops in plexi but they would look so much better clear like my evo cup block, what's the best way to polish them up? Fine grit paper an t cut?? That one suggestion anyone else?

I have, and was advised:
400 to get any very visible machining marks.
1000 all over,
2000 all over,
3000 all over (if you can find it)

then a polishing fluid of your choice, car shops have some good ones, use a new cloth

400 to 1000 is too big of a jump, 1000 will need a lot of work to remove the marks from 400

800g
1200g
2000g
2800g
3200g

After 2000g only do more if you feel the need to. lay the glass paper on a morrow, wet and rub the top on it to keep it as flat as you can
Use g16 cutting compound(super fine) it better than T-cut
