Polite Q for the Mods - can we have a Vista Sub-Forum?

I'm not into it, but half of the thread list is Vista related Q's.
Obviously it's a big topic - and I don't mean to cause any offence.
I (hazily/maybe) remember the Games forum having an XBox subforum created when it was first released?

Lots of people have asked, but theres really no need. Use the search button if you cant find what you want. Vista is Windows and will probably fill up this forum for a few months but theres no need for another forum.

I asked a while ago for a sub forum. I'm getting fed up of mine and everyone else's non vista related threads falling off the top page in a couple of hours with no answers.

Vista threads are faster moving because there are more questions about it. If all the vista threads were in one place at least people might be more inclined to look for old posts rather than posting the same question yet again.

you could uninstall vista and go back to XP and then there wount be no need for a vista subforum.....

Dont use IE and yes win2k is the Best Stable OS from MS to date

I think it would be silly since soon it will become the most popular of the windows OS's.

Although I would like to see the seperation of Windows and Other Software.

how is Win2k more stable than XP

i never have crashes in windows XP unless i've got dodgy driver issues. And lets not forget, any virus or trojan, worm etc.. will work on 2k as well as XP.

Windows XP has being built for 5+ years and still is growing in the amount of updates + services packs this alone makes it the most secure OS to date, not including Mac OSX just in the windows family

How many BSOD have you seen using Y2K? Ive only seen a few these due to being hardware faults under XP.

Just search for 'xp vs. windows 2000' in the good old Google there’s over 1million of hits with this type of argument.
