Are they starting to annoy you?

I've been getting tory stuff through my door nearly every day, going out, giving it back to the bloke, saying no, I don't want this crap.
Today I went out and not so politely told him if he puts any more through my door he'll have to get a doctor to remove it from his backside.

I don't think it's a big ask "Don't put any more of this crap through my frontdoor thankyou" but this guys just doing it to annoy me now.
If he does it again tomorow i'm gonna chuck a bucket of water over him and his sodding leaflets.

Anyone else get people putting leaflets through like every day?

could be worse you could live here where I get all the bumph but can't vote..lol

I'm not, but my constituency is quite safely Tory. I've had a 'sorry we missed you' leaflet from the incumbent MP, and a leaflet from the local Labour candidate, but that's it. I think you must be lucky enough to live in a marginal. ;)

I have about a foot high pile of Lib Dem stuff (as I'm in a major lib dem vs labour battleground) ... too bad I will NEVER vote for Lab or Lib Dem.

Amazingly haven't had any door to door talk to you type people, just spam :(

Really? Not had any LibDem stuff yet, but i believe the Conservatives are pushing a hell of a lot through there. A bit of labour but by far the most has come from fascist parties such as the BNP, worryingly.

Nothing here :(

Emailed all the major parties a few questions, only one got back to me.

Wish someone would come and talk to me!

Had a leaflet or two from the conservatives and Lib dems but the new Labour candidate seems to have chopped down a rainforest....

We are in a pretty staunch labour area as well, however it appears the seat isn't as safe as it once was and so far in the last few weeks we've had all three party leaders visit our town apparently.

I've had about a dozen, from various candidates (some repeats).

I keep the recycling bag next to my front door. It saves time.

I don't find it that annoying - I get more leaflets for food takeaways.

I'm curious about one thing - are any of the people shown on the BNP leaflet actually supporters of the BNP or are they lying again like they did last time?

ive had 1 bnp and about 5 labor leaflets .

ive saw stickers on lamp posts saying "dont vote nazi bnp" which makes me want to vote for them.

That's assault (the threat). I would call the police.

Why does that make you want to vote for them?
because they arent nazi's and nearly all of the local population are pakistani/polish/whatever putting all these anti BNP stuff around gets my goat.

be different if i went around with stickers claiming the labor mps around here are all muslim extremists

Why are you getting so annoyed about it?
I take it you haven't got a polite note on your door requesting "No election leaflets please"
Assaulting the MP or local party volunteer really isn't going to get you anywhere

Because he probably has no intention of voting for the party spamming him, just like me

Yes, it would be different. The labour party isn't run by people who have convictions relating to extremist Islam and are sympathisers for extremist Islam, etc, etc.

The BNP are fascists with an undercurrent of neo-Nazi sympathising. So it would indeed be different.
