banana, bread and butter is a great combo....toast with the melted butter and banana is amazing!

prob 4 for me but it's always a bit of a lottery when buying bananas tbh, I can see the ends are more green in 4,5 and 6 but look very similar otherwise. The jump to 7 is pretty extreme..

6-7 but ideally, no bruising. I'll take a 4-5 because too many times have I popped a nice ripe nana into my bag only to find it's been absorbed into my laptop grilles later.

My cousin likes them so black she hides them behind stuff in her bedroom, so the family won't eat them.

I have banana omelette every morning

Anything below 5 is disgusting, unripe banana taste like eating a raw inedible plant instead of a fruit and they also give me a horrible feeling in the back of my throat and sometimes even make me gag.
6+ is best

Actually I think I might be mildly allergic to bananas when they're very ripe too. My throat goes a bit tight if they're especially fragrant.

I think a 5 is just right once they've lost their green and are all yellow inside, but not too soft they are almost getting spots on the skin

5 or 6 will both be adequate, anything else being a terrible misadventure.

As a strong banana consumptioner, I enjoy a banana twice a day in the mornings but not in the afternoon. Banana cakes are bad, as are bananas on bread or inserted into a larger recipe arrangement.

It's all about the spotty Banana...

My Grandparents owned a fruit shop and they only ate bananas once there was black speckles on the skin. This is the indication that ripeness has been reached, it's kind of downhill from there.

Bananas definitely taste their sweetest and best at that point, however I can totally understand from a texture perspective why people prefer a less ripe banana. I wont judge you, each to their own, banana is a beautiful thing.

when we were kids my mum used to say to my sister it's not ladylike to eat a banana that way, only much later
did I cotton on what she was getting at, and the realisation that my mum was a bit more wise of the ways of the world than I thought.
