I drink a couple of cans of fizzy drink a day. Can never say I've ever experienced any kind of sugar induced high or even a mild energy boost.

I see the ''omg unhealthy'' people have arrived .

The only thing I drank for 3 or 4 days recently was coke ( well aside from the beer in between ), it didn't kill me, and I didn't feel different than usual.
