Yes. He assaulted someone. He threw a bitch fit over not getting a hot meal and assaulted someone. Let that sink in for a few before the same lot who defended him in the other thread chime in. Had it been anyone else, they'd be singing a different tune.

It's simply because Jeremy Clarkson is the spokesperson for the "ELF AND SAFETY GONE MAD, RULE BRITANNIA, I'M NOT RACIST BUT..." crowd that he has such support on these forums, because there's a seedy under current of such on these forums.
What's that got to do with the price of rice? Absolute nothing. Or are we just bringing up random **** that occurred at the BBC to try and deflect attention away from what Clarkson did as immature, childish, and a criminal offence? Hell, why don't we dig up the corpse of Saville while we're at it so Clarkson supporters can point to it and say "LOOK AT THIS! HE WASN'T AS BAD AS THIS!".
Because it seems to be one rule for one and one for another....which is exactly the argument that people who think he should be sacked keep putting forward...
Why is Clarkson being singled out and sacked for breaking the law, whilst Mr Fry is not?
Be mindful that I did not say what others have done absolves Clarkson of his sins. I just think others that have committed discretions of similar severity should be treated the same and given the same level of punishment (ie sacked/ be let go)

Absolutely not nonsense, the fact that it was JC, admittedly i'm more interested in the situation, but regardless who it was i'd still have the same veiwpoint.
