Poll: [Poll?] Do you cross your sevens?

This might seem like a random thread (well it is), but I was just writing down a mobile number from my phone and as I was writing it, I was thinking about me crossing the 7's and the fact that I don't see it at all in everyday life... Although for a long time I have crossed mine for some reason. I'm not really sure why I do it but have done for as long as I can remember.

Apparently...

Most people in Europe, Latin America, and New England, write 7 with a line in the middle, sometimes with the top line crooked. The line through the middle is useful to clearly differentiate the character from the number one, as these can appear similar when written in certain styles of handwriting. This glyph is used in official handwriting rules for primary school in Russia.

I don't know anyone else that does this apart from myself so....

Do you cross your sevens?

a) Yes, as I'm weird.
b) No, as I'm normal.

No I don't. I have friends who do though, they say it makes it easier to distinguish between 1,2 and 7. I don't really have a problem with it, so I don't bother.

Yeah I don't do it to distinguish, as if you can't tell the difference between 1 and 7 you're either silly or someone's handwriting is rubbish.

I think I decided at some point when I was young I was going to be cool and different, ever since I have crossed them

Wow... it's a lot more even than I would've expected or guessed... I'd have though more like 70/30 no/yes to be honest... I think the fact that know one I know does it, yet the results are 50/50 seems a bit weird to me...
