Why are people arguing about this?
The fact is that consoles and console gamers make up an overwhelming majority of the gaming market nowadays, and developers quite simply don't wish to support the PC platform like they used to. There's not as much money in it, it's far easier to play a pirated PC game than an Xbox game and it's just good business to support consoles more and PC less. I know there are many people on here who passionately defend the PC and what not, and fair enough, I don't know what the exact sales figures were/are with Call of Duty 4, but I'm talking about overall market share.
I've been playing it on PC and it's been absolutely fantastic, no reason to boycott it.
