Chelsea have been relatively poor until the last couple of weeks yet are only 3 points behind the Mancs,who have played out of their skin for most of the season.I can't see them keeping it up til May,if they do ,then fair do's they'd deserve the title (but i wouldn't tell them that)
Everyone thinks Man Utd have been playing out of their skin, I don't agree with it. We've had quite a few games when we got the result and not the performance and that is in all competitions too. And along the way we've beaten a few teams sticking more than 2 goals past them. I think we've a lot more to see from Rooney, Ronaldo, Saha, Giggs and Scholes this season along with anyone we get in January.
We have beaten teams we should beat unlike previous seasons, that is the difference this season and long may it continue. My only worry and criticism so far is the lack of quality in the backup players, when Giggs was out we were a completely different team and played differently too. If we can get to Christmas without any major injuries I think we could possibly build a small gap. Although it all depends on the Chelsea game. Will we be the leaders, or the ones catching up all season?

I had a friendly bet with a guy at work before the season started. I said that Manchester United would end up lower in the table than Spurs. 
Admittedly i was basing the majority of that belief on the "Manchester United frustration" thread which is actually a very interesting read. And also looking at the various players Spurs added to their team and rising young internationals.
I think Manchester United will win. Certainly put Chelsea in their place.
