lol, i resent it being implied I slowly realised anything

The second Redknapp signs for any club I see the financial trouble ahead
It's NOT Redknapp's fault, its owners/directors/whoever who LET HIM manage the way he does, insanely badly. Redknapp's philosophy of football is, sign more players.... that's his complete tactic start to finish, "these guys aren't playing well, sign someone in form to get them playing", then when those new guys drop form, sign more guys.
I sincerely expect he's the kind of manager who tells his owners, "yeah, yeah, we need to sign him first then we can sell random player x y and z, and cover the costs, no problem, lovely jubbly" , then he simply both never gets around to selling the player, can't find anyone, vastly over estimates their value and has them on wages that mean they are happy to stay and take the paycheck.
Next season Redknapp will be all "yeah just one or two more, we couldn't offload those guys last year because, it was a bad market, my cat died, that ******* butterfly flaps its wings in Australia and causes chaos in the transfer market over here, it'll be fine, we'll be able to offload them no problem this season... etc, etc, etc".
Fact is you have to employ a good manager with some financial sense, or have the balls to stand up and say no to the moron and not care if he decides to walk.
Manager with barely a brain in his head and who likes to commit financial hari kari, and an owner without the balls to tell him to shove the daft wages/transfer fee's he was throwing about and you get Portsmouth.
