Pondering about updating graphics card. (Any Opinions)

Well where to begin. I have had my PC about 2 years now and with how fast technology moves on I'm kind of unsure if I should upgrade my graphics card or not.

Specs:

CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1100T Processor 3.3ghz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6950 2GB
HDD: 2x 1TB
OS: Windows 7 64bit

Is it worth upgrading yet or should I save my money for little while longer to get best when I really really need to.
