first of all here is the steam page:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/269170/
I watched the first video and realised I need this in my life! I could do with a pool game also....

I was annoyed that I already owned pool nation and that I had to buy another copy but I can see why that is now, this is a completely different feel.
and hats....we all love hats, right?

it is early stages right now for me but the steam community appears to be active with the developers so hopefully we will get some less stifling areas to play in and better music.

Graphics settings have a little fps counter as you change them, visually I could see no real leap from high to ultra but had no jerkiness either.
setting up the angle for shots can be a bit restrictive but you do the old behind the back shot or even play left handed if you want to show off....not that anyone else would witness that move, all they see is your controllers and hat
*edit- only just figured out that you squeese all the grip buttons then kind of ski around the table to get closer to ball- edit*

anyway, what are we all thinking so far? is this going to create an ultra competitive online league?

Superb fun! Certainly the best multiplayer experience I've had on the Vive so far. Amazing how much personality can come across from just a headset and a pair of hands!!

Performance seems a bit of an issue for me though with a 4670k @ 4ghz, 16 gig ram and an R9 Nano. I have to run it on low to get a consistent 90fps - which looks pretty awful! Medium hits about 80-85 which introduces some stutter, and anything higher hits about 45 and reprojection comes in.

couple of things i have noticed, turning off aim assist makes it loads harder....am I that bad at pool in real life? maybe! If they had separate lobbies for aim assist on/off then that would make the match more fair.
would be good to do local two player, I know it would be a hassle to take off the headset and that but would not hurt as an option.
But yes, this is worth it. A quite relaxing experience. More options will be welcomed, tables/venues/balls/HATS!!!!
Dropping in and out of multiplayer games seems easy enough so hopefully we might get something going on here?

Aim assist / ghost ball off all the way!

It's very good. Quite surreal at first playing/chatting etc with people. PLayed against a guy in the US yesterday...was brilliant.

So much room to develop this too; larger multiplayer games rooms (matches going on around you I mean), tournaments, playing your own music/videos (which you can seemingly do already with a bit of effort..see r/vive), arcades etc.

I've added you on Steam bluntslide.

Yep, totally agree. Cheers for the add, will sort later.
My favourite thing so far is standing next to the other playing when they are taking a shot and pretending to stroke their head! Shame only i can see that.....

Brilliant game, but one or two people do their best to spoil it. Had the most painful game ever against a chap with a viking helmet on just now. Every time I went to play a shot he'd either move the light, chuck the jukebox on the table or stick his controllers in the pocket. It's funny every once in a while but when you do it every time it gets a bit grating ;)

.....and he beat me.

I bought it and had to returned it, just way to glitchy with the cue, and tracking where I was, not had any other issues with other games so not sure why this one was like that.

Not had any glitchy problems so far. Runs very well, but have put it down to medium settings as there are known performance problems higher up.

It's fast become my fave VR game. Can't wait to see what they do with it.

Yeah high and ultra work for me, then is starts stuttering a few games in. Medium always works smoothly.

Played for 4 hrs last night between this and my first go at altspace.

can this be played seated? as have gimped me knee and that is all I can play for a few weeks.

Bought this last night and had a few games, loving it so far. I even played a few games sitting down and it didn't impact me too much since you can essentially sit inside the table and you don't have to lean over.

For people asking if you can play this game seated for me you can yes, Aswel as standing and moving around, I've put around 8 hours into the game and at least 2 has been done on my chair.

I think it all depends on the height of your chair though.
