Assuming that's their fence (the author) would it not have made more sense to post the letter through the alleged offenders postboxes /letterboxes as they had already apparently followed them home? Doesn't make much sense to identify yourself if you are intent on launching a campaign of canine fecal delivery to its domestic source?
