Hi all :)

I currently have......
Ati 4850 512mbs gfx card
Core duo 7300@ 3.2 ghz.
2x2 gigs of pc2 6400 platinum edition memory in windows xp pro.
p5ql pro motherboard

I tried the winrar benchmark and got a shocking score of 520, should be in the mid high 1500 imo.
So now i try the pc wizard benchmark and got 17705.49 with 4 gigs in, so i rebooted and took 2 gigs out and got 17904.35?????
Something ain't right here.
So i checked the graph out where it compared my computer with other computers.
And it's saying an older nvidia 7950 gt ko 512mbs card(my old 1) is scoring better then my current 4850 512mbs card??
Something fishy going on.
So i checked the mem part of the graph and it's saying my memory is really poor, the mem cache score was seriously low and the mem benchmark was just as bad.
AAny ideas what it could be, it's driving me mad this i've always thought it seemed not to much of a stepp up from my older 4400x2 asrock dual sata 7950 gt ko 512 super clocked computer.
Any help greatly appreciated :)

Thanks :)

Just ran the winrar benchmark and it seemed to sit on 939 up unitll 2 minutes when i stopped it. Temp wise, the CPU didn't even stress. Not sure how important a figure it is.

As a quick input, make sure you have the latest multithreaded version of the winrar software or a least the version in the post below so you can compare benches.

Its a fair read but....its a thread with nothing else but winrar benches in it also has info on how to setup system to improve winrar benches (if you read through it it may help)
