My cat jess has a passion for killing things, which often means we find dead "presents" around the house and occasionally the odd live one... Well today i found her running around with a sparrow in her mouth that was still alive! So i chased her off it and put it in a box next to an open window in my bedroom hoping that it just needed a chill out and all would be fine. Well an hour later i found it leaning on its head with its arse in the air, unfortunatly still alive. At this point i thought there was nothing more i could do and went to put it at the bottom of the garden. When i put it down it fell over straight away onto its side, so i decided it was better off not being here....
It upsets me to have to do that but it looked like it was suffering really badly and i doubt it would have survived anyway.
Ohh well RIP Mr/Mrs sparrow.....
