I'm back baby!
Stats:

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 4091 kbps 510 kbps
Line Attenuation 40 db 21 db
Noise Margin 16 db 21 db

Got 20mb with Sky. Had 12mb (topped out at >9 sync speed) before moving recently and I'm now closer to the same exchange.

Do I have a problem with my line? Worth trying a different router or filter? It's a big old house I've bought, so wiring might not be the best.

Skyuser predictions:

Line & Broadband Speed Checker (ADSL)

We have determined that your line is capable of upto 5 mb or 5500 Kbps.

Full Details:

1 & 2mb available
500Kbps/256Kbps available
ADSL MAX (upto 8mb) is available.

ADSL2+ Speed Test
We estimate your line is capable of between 8mb to 9mb broadband on an ADSL2+ service.

Give it time, looks like you are on your first day looking at the 4mb download speed which is what the Sky system starts of at when profiling your line. The speed will increase over the next few days if this is the case.

Ah, good :)

It was only connected today, but after two weeks I was gutted by the initial speed :p

When I changed to Be, my connection took about 10 days plus a couple of reboots before it finally settled down.
