poor fps on css and cod 4 -vista 32bit

So I decided to give vista another go but whenever I play cod4 or css i get crap frame rates. I get about 3fps in cod4 and 20- 35fps in css.

Used to get at least 60 in ccs and im not sure about cod4 but probably bout the same at least it was very playable. IS there some settings Im missing or something? The spec is in my sig although cpu is at stock.

Have you tried reinstalling graphics drivers?

Bit of a long shot but have you set everything to low to see if there is any problems?

yea, everything is more or less at its lowest setting with no aa, i cant think of anything else to do. :confused:

Revert back to xp or dump ati

Not sure try older drivers for vista perhaps...
Try disabling aero too and see if there's any improvement.
