Hi Guys,

With the spec in sig I should easily run Modern Warfare 2 at a constant 60fps at 1080p with 4xAA. But with a lot of action I get like 35fps. I'm not sure if its using just 1 gpu on my 4870x2 or what. I;m using cats ver 9.10 for win 7. Anyone Know how I can tell if its using both gpu's? Is there newer drivers for my card for the game?

Thank

Weird, that card should be tearing through that game, though from what ive seen the enable sli option isn't in the options anymore, possible it doesn't work with multi gpu anymore.

Download GPU-Z: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/
Open it twice and use one to measure GPU1 activity and the other to measure GPU2 activity.
Load up MW2 and play it for a minute or so, alt + tab out and look at the GPU usage for each GPU, should be around 60% for each GPU.
Also make sure Catalyst A.I. is set to standard or advanced in CCC.
Edit: iirc there was an 'enable dual video cards' option in the graphics settings for previous CoD's, make sure this option is also enabled, if there is one :)

35fps, is vsync enabled? If i can't get 60 it will got 30ish? If not then 35fps is fine anyway. How did you know it was 35? Is it because you noticed it was slow so checked, or because always have fraps open?

I get micro stuttering in MW2 with a xfx gtx280 xt
Put on Vsync and its as smooth as butter. Not checked the frame rates though, can cod still do this via console or not now due to lack of dedi servers?

I ran 2 60 second benchmarks whilst in battle on MW2... Got 86 FPS average using my 5850 with 50 as the low and 178 as the high.
