This is something I do sometimes and I thought I would share this tip with you guys. If you fee like you could do with a change of scene and maybe a little holiday but cant afford it, just do this:
Simply set your home page to www.google.com.au and it's as if you are living in Australia! All the news and search results come up in Australian. I also make my wife speak in an Australian accent to make it more realistic.
Other "destinations" I go to sometimes:
www.google.de (germany)
www.google.fr (france)
www.google.ca (canada)
