2 zoos offered to take this young giraffe in, but Copenhagen said no due to some excuse regarding inbreeding and killed him with a bolt gun, performed an autopsy in front of the paying public, then finally will chop him up and feed him to the lions.

Absolutely awful :mad:

Would any of you go as far to say that taking your children to watch the giraffe being skinned, autopsied, then fed to lions, verges on bad parenting?

I appreciate this point, but surely there should be a period for a child to not be subjected to the harsh reality of life.

A few years of innocence is surely not too much to ask.

I wonder how many of those youngsters have got those dreadful scenes now ingrained into their young minds. I don't think it's fair to do that to a child.
