Hello All,
Out of curiosity I ran a Benchmark on my new OCUK Pinnacle laptop and its come up with quite poor results on all 3 M2 drives and the ram.
Anything I should be looking at as to why this is ?
Benchmark results

Cheers

For M.2 drives, I'd suggest using CrystalDisk and compare to reviews.

RAM: I wouldn't bother benching ram specifically, run e.g. 3D Mark or Cinebench and check the score. HWINFO is better for showing system info in general.

Hey mate, I've seen a few folks with new high-end laptops like the Pinnacle get surprisingly low scores on storage and RAM benchmarks – especially if it's something like UserBenchmark or PassMark.
Common culprits:
  • Running on battery or in a power-saving profile (switch to High Performance mode and plug in).
  • Background apps/processes eating CPU/resources during the test – close everything and try again.
  • Drives nearly full, or not enough empty space for proper sequential writes.
  • For RAM, if it's not in full quad-channel (Pinnacle supports it with 4 slots), or XMP not enabled properly.
Try CrystalDiskMark for the M.2 drives – that'll give more realistic speeds. What benchmark did you use, and can you share the actual scores/screenshots?
Let us know how it goes!
