You might like to add to a poor motorola phone. The point is I contacted Motorola to assist with a problem I am having trying to get my usb drivers to recognize the phone. The error message using both vista and xp was unknown device to which the drivers would not install. The thing is I couldn't figure out what was going on because on at least one occassion I had managed to get PC Sync working.
Motorola's reply was make sure you are using the Vista 64 version of Pc Sync. WTF! do they not think I am capable of having already tried that? I rather suspect that advice has come from the canteen lady
Having virtually given up on reinstalling the software I decided one last thing: Change the usb data cable to one with a suppressor and guess what I managed to get Pc Sync working. The thing is I still cannot get the phone (a z10) to work as a mass storage device-and all Motorola can say is make sure you are using the Vista 64 version of Pc Sync? It doesn't work in Xp either
