hi guys. For some reason im getting wowful benchmarks with my ip35-pro cand i cant for the life of me work out whats going on.
ive got an e2160 running at 3.1ghz, 344x9. the ram, 4x1gb of geil pc6400 ultra, is running 5:6 so thats at 412mhz or just over stock.
my problem is that every benchmark is coming in way below par, about half what it should be. memory benchmarks are about where they should be....if i were running single channel. sandra reckons im getting about 5.6gb a second - 23% slower than the reference pc2-5300 975x system @ 6.9gb/sec. Performace test 6.1 echos these results. both sandra and PT are showing my cpu to be about 30% slower in tests than it should be.
this is whether overclocked or at stock. can anybody give me any suggestions? im on vista 64 with all the latest drivers
