Was wondering if anyone can help me.
I've just started using my WRT300N. I've tried using it via a number of different receivers, laptop, IPod Touch, Wifi Phone using the G rated network.
I was expecting a range of about a 100 - 200 feet for reception, but can only get a reception upto about 20 feet. I can't even use my laptop in my bedroom which in a direct line is about 20 feet away ( though 2 walls in between)
I've tried a number of things to improve the situation. changing channels, moving the router so it's away from any other sources of power. But nothing seems to have made a difference.
Can anyone provide me any help, or does it look like I've got a bad unit and need to exchange it?
