Im having slight issues with my eeepc, and it's wifi performance. I was browsing the internet and noticed it was going VERY slowly. Checked the router for internet connectivity and everything was fine. Then tried pinging the router, and got 50% packet loss at something like 800ms lag. The network coverage indicator was on 'exellent' to very 'good'. Any ideas what could be causing this? All the other laptops on the network are running fine. The router is a Netgear DG834G v4, which is also connected wirelessly to a WG602 Access point, but im sure the eeepc was connecting to the router directly.

interference from other WiFi close by? changing channels only reduces this issue slightly though.

either that or possibly somebody is 'piggybacking' on your connection (disregard this if you have a secured network though)
