Anyone on Zen getting poor speeds and high pings?

pings to BBC are over 200ms and my speed has dropped to about 10mbs.

40-50ms here on my zen fibre connection to bbc. 13ms on works bt fibre connection.

Edit. Back to 12ms this morning.

I got onto a different pipe, DSL18 and DSL 16 had massive congestion, I managed to get on DSL17 and it instantly fixed it. Not looking good for the future tbh.

Hi, I'm one of the network engineers at Zen. I'm intrigued as to how you are defining the pipes you are connected to, because we have no 'pipes' labelled as DSL16, 17 or 18. We do have DSL gateways which would resolve their names as DSL1 to DSL8 (In both London and Manchester), possible that either we have the reverse DNS entries mangled or you are referring to something else? There was an issue this morning with the DSL gateways for the south of England that may have impacted some FTTx users that our Network Ops team have resolved. This was a permanent ,rather than a tactical, fix.

Well your own guys on the phone called them pipes, links or what ever. Fact is that I was connected to either one of the DSL16 or 18 (confirmed via pathping/trace) I was getting poor speeds (sub 10mbs on a full sync) and 200ms+ pings to any UK server. Today seems better so I will keep and eye on it. I have a ThinkBB graph running 24/7 which will back up my claims.

Thanks, it wasn't bothering me but nice to know it's fixed.

Glad its sorted. I think its very likely you were affected by the issue I referred to, and that it may have taken longer than necessary to be escalated up, and addressed.
