Poorly XBOX

Hello.

I was watching skyplayer this morning and my controller fell of the bed. My xbox just went to a black screen so I reset my xbox/TV and the xbox turns on but nothing is showing on the screen it says "no signal" and all the lights on the controller just freeze on .By the way I have the new 250GB xbox. Any help?

Take the battery out of the controller and put it back in again to reset the controller. Maybe your display settings have cocked up. Try this -

While the console is starting, press and hold the Y button and pull the right trigger at the same time. Continue holding the buttons when you see the Xbox 360 logo.

Yeah ive done this but nothing. I changed the hdmi cable and "BINGO" it worked. I don't see how dropping the controller finished of the cable. How weird? lol
