I am not terribly surprised, although part of me will miss the 6 monthly upgrade and seeing what's new.

Most of my applications are Flatpaks, the kernel gets updated often - really all I see is missing possible Gnome updates. I just hope COSMIC turns out to be good!

If you can't put the panel on the bottom, use icons as lunchers and ungroup applications then i'll just stick with dash to panel.
