Pop Battle: Madonna vs Michael Jackson

The recent Madonna tour announcement has made me revisit the question… who had the better ‘pop-classics’ output, Jackson or Madonna.

At first glance, it seems super obvious that it’s a knockout win for Michael Jackson… Madonna is definitely not held in the same ‘untouchable regard’ and is often dismissed. But I actually find myself on team Madonna. Her singles collection is absolutely redonk

It’s a close call always with those two but imo Michael was the better entertainer. Both had almost equally brilliant tunes that I listen to daily still.
