Pop up annoying???

Hey guys just wanted to know if anybody can recommend a program that stops all the annoying pop ups in internet explorer 7 and firefox, i have the settings on to stop pop ups but there still coming up, i dont know what to try but its really annoying the hell out of me now!!! ive used ccleaner, reg cure lavasoft and spybot but nothing seems to be getting rid of this, any help would be much appreciated cheers

What are the popups for? Same thing each time or something different?

What processes are running?

There usually the same like wanting to promote online gambling, loans and advertisments, its just getting annoying now everytime i open the web browser and start surfing these things keep opening up 3 or 4 windows with adverts. any suggestions? cheers

Sounds like you're spyware infested personally. The usual really, spybot, adaware (whatever is in these days), update your AV make sure its enabled and running scan your PC over. Don't download anything from the porn sites you visit in future, or get better at using silly P2P programs like limewire

There are some sites, especially Casino 888 ones, that seem to get around Opera's pop-up blocker. They always seem to open when a link is clicked. The link-page and the pop-up appear together, just in case Ad-Aware/Spybot don't show anything.

I just set Opera to block ALL pop-ups and then open them manually with shift-click (Open page in background-tab), if your browser has a similar function?
