POP3 for the same email account on different PCs?

I want to run POP3 email clients on 2 different PCs for the same email address. How can I get new emails to go to both PCs rather than just the one that checks email first? Is it possible?

If it's always one PC that checks the email first have it leave messages on the server. No option of using IMAP?

As above, is there any reason you can't use IMAP?
