As the title says really, Ive recently upgraded my mobo, CPU and memory and when ever I play mp3's back they have a "popping" noise as if they were vinyl? There is nothing wrong with the mp3's as it is doing it on them all and I have had them all for ages and never had any problems. Also, it doesnt do it them on my laptop.
Any thoughts as to what the problem might be? Im using windows media player with xp pro sp2. Any more info then give me a shout. Was thinking that perhaps a seperate sound card might do the trick?
