Is there anyway to download a play the Amiga version of Populous on my PC. Is it legal? I had heard that its now abandon ware.

How do i go about getting it to work?

isn't abandonware still not entirely legal? And would suggesting an abandonware site contravene board rules and result in a ban?

With this link i'm sure you can find it easily enough , however the site itself doesn't contain the files so it's not against the rules(just a review site)

Yes your are right about the rules as long as abandonware is not legal. Maybe someone will know.

You need an emulator such as WinUAE and two additional files which is were legal issues come in to play.

Alternatively you can buy Cloanto Amiga Forever, and then just require the game ADF file. But Amiga Forever is just a dressed up WinUAE with included Amiga ROM files.

The best option would be to download winuae , winuae loader and then the WHD packs. The whd packs are all pre configured hard drive games
