Want to start eating it again but don't know what to get. Want something that's quality, quick to make, healthy and filling.

Generally add fruits to that will ferment less readily, such as bananas, pears, apples or coconut (less bloating). Preferably pick up an organic box of oats, still very cheap; don't add extra refined sugars, but a little honey, fruit or xylitol is fine.

Morrison oats,2kg @ 2.99p a bag, rolled oats, 100% oats... i put one 1.25 scoops of oats to 1.25cups of milk ( i like mine a little thicker) and that does me nicely.

they are oats, as long as they are 100% oats im happy, do you want extra added cack as in fruit? if so quality is questionable over the original
I can measure the 'scoop' i needed.
side note, 2kg @ stated dose lasts best part of a month. breakfast for a weight training hard pushing fat cutter for £2.99p = bargain!

scoops of milk edited for cups of...

I've been converted to Scotts Old Fashioned Porage Oats as they give a much nicer texture than other oats. I only ever have them with honey.

I have porridge every morning with banana and honey :)

takes 1.30min in microwave (I like my porridge runny)

Large Rolled Oats for the win, organic if you want to spend a little more. Holland And Barrett sell bags of ''Breakfast Sprinkles''which is seeds, nuts, and dried fruits to which I add some more of their ground nuts for a filling start of the day

I have my oats with either a sprinkle of sugar or some honey most the time.

For a change though some crushed nuts and bananas always go down a treat.

Porridge is so underrated. Hardly ever have it though :( never get up in time for breakfast.

Dark brown sugar, honey or jam.

And don't forget the pinch of salt.
