port forwarding on my super hub

i have been trying to forward a port for utorrent with out success could someone plz tell me how to do it plz... thank...

you shouldn't have to forward ports for utorrent. i'd just let it use UPNP automatically.

Not a fan of UPnP. Best to disable it.

uTorrent > Options > Preferences > Connection. Set a port. Disable UPnP & NAT-PMP. Add Windows Firewall Exception. Don't randomize ports.

you don't actually have to do anything. the whole point of UPNP is that the application (in this case utorrent) should set it up automatically by "talking" to the router.

this assumes UPNP is enabled on the router but i'm almost certain it would be (most consumer routers are)

the only you should have to do is check for a green tick in the utorrent status bar. this tells you it has an open connection.

see that guide were you put thenumbers inot the wee box ive troed that with my port and i get a orange triangle in utorrent.
