port forwarding through two routers?

How can I port forward for downloading torrents when my computer is plugged into a router plugged into another router???

Is the second router just acting as a switch, ie just using the ethernet ports on the back rather than the WAN port? If so you should only need to open ports on the router that's connected to the internet - it's the only router in the network.

And if it isn't, then it should be - unless you have a very decent reason to be running NAT twice.

i am using the WAN connection on the back of the 2nd router (from the 1st), should i just swap it over to one of the "outputs"?

Yes, there's no need to route traffic twice.
