I'm currently living in a Unite accomodation building, the ISP they offer is U-Want internet, supposedly aimed at students. Is anyone else here using u-want, or has used it in the past? I need to find out if there is any way I can get ports open, I'm finding some programs are unable to connect to update servers etc. Opera also doesn't seem to want to send emails. All of which I'm blaming on blocked ports, since all programs are using exactly the same settings as they were when I was living at home.
Any help appreciated.
