As a lot of us here work in IT, im hoping that someone has knowledge when it comes to PAT. I'm looking for a software application that can connect to the tester and display the data in the form of a spreadsheet, and provide a calendar service so i can see when the appliances next need testing. I've found a couple of programs that do this (Patguard Pro & SimplyPats) but i haven't found a review of either. If anyone here has any experience of either, and can shed some light on how good/bad they are, or even recommend another program, it would be appreciated. Cheers

Depends on who makes the tester, most I have seen do their own software that links to the tester...

The tester is a Seaward Europa. It came bundled with Seaward PATSLite, but the program's pretty basic, and thats when it does work (always seems to hang).

Thats the same PAT tester we use at work, never used the software though.. Previous ones I have used have better software, but their names escape me..
