Howdi,

I recetly lost my Portable App USB pendrive (off the side of a boat :)), nothing major data wise stored on there luckily. I am however going to put together a new one and was wondering what apps you all can't do without.

I will use the following at a min:

Firefox
Roboform
Nero
Notepad++

Suggest away my good people.

Cheers
Saviola

ImgBurn instead of Nero, FileZilla, VLC, etc. No idea, all comes down to what you want to use really... I have Ubuntu on one and some Windows portable apps and installers for tools I use when fixing other peoples PC's.

Along with the Portable Apps on the website, I have installers for Antimalware and Antivirus programs, CCleaner, Defraggler [for XP machines], product key finders and a few other bits and pieces.

Basically I assume someone's PC can't connect to the Internet, so anything I would normally download to fix it, I have on my pen drive.

Cheers Guys.

Basically I use it for all my own junk, favourites etc, so I can just use any PC with a USB port. I also use it as SiriusB suggests as a form of Diagnostics tool, although not needed it much lately.

VLC player is probably one of the best. You can then play any media file whether it be audio or video on any PC and it's lightweight too.
