Hey bros. Looking for a laptop of some variety suitable for dual booting windows and kali. Portability and battery are my main concerns - just something I can keep in my bag for when I get some down time in work. I was looking at something like the Acer Aspire Switch, but I'm not convinced it could do either windows or linux to any real success :P
Windows use would primarily be browsing and netflix/other streaming. Kali obviously for pentesting, no hash cracking though I'll just offload that to my desktop.

Ideas?

Dunno, instinct? I look at it and my internal monologue goes "Yeah, something like that. But not that." -- Maybe my mind is just being awkward with me :D

Edit:
Quick google search https://gist.github.com/franga2000/a09bd6e8d56407248964 -- apparently it doesn't like linux. My mind may be awkward, but it's often right no matter how much I disagree with it. I'm like Karl Pilkington in that me, my brain and my mind are all separate entities.

So are you looking for a portable laptop or tablet? I'm pretty sure Dell does hybrid Laptop/tablet's which might be suitable. I don't know anything about this Linux distro your using but is it going to be used for any any demanding tasks? I'm just thinking if it does yo would be better off with a more powerful desktop replacement style laptop.

I'm looking for something that suits my needs - the Acer was something that would have fit the bill nicely size wise, but not functionality. I don't want any bigger than like 13" if I have to go laptop (probably have to do), I'm not sure if any of those tablet hybrids would work - which is why the thread is here I guess :D I was hoping someone here had a similar requirement and could recommend me something.
Not looking at a lot of money here, it really doesn't need to be all that powerful - any demanding tasks can be offloaded to my desktop.
