Portable monitors?

Heyup everyone.

Has anyone ever used one of these? They seem to get good reviews to me, think that Santa will be bringing one for me!

They can be had for about £125, which seems cheap to me for the functionality you get.

I wonder if they could be used for eyefinity/nVidia surround...

Given that it's a USB display, it will be using a USB display adaptor, muchlike those old USB to VGA dongles you could buy.

Gaming will be a complete no-no.

Given the price of the thing, surely an "air display" type app for your generic tablet is a better idea, and if you have a retina iPad, better resolution too.

I don't have a tablet, nor can I afford one, and they're only 10" anyway, wheras these monitors are 14".

It's only really for work stuff, I don't play games on my laptop.
