Anyone know of a good portable MP3 recorder? There used to be a few products from Archos and IRiver that could record from a line input to MP3. These were based on a 2.5" HDD. Nowadays the only ones I can find have video features that I don't need or can only record to WAV. I've seen recorders such as the M-Audio Microtrak that record to flash memory, but these don't provide enough storage. I've also seen the Gemini I-Key, which is a device for recording to any USB mass storage device. I'll probably get one of these if I can't find anything better, but Id prefer an all in one, HDD based solution, that could record and playback MP3s.
