Portable Wifi hotspot on XP query.

I'm on holiday and one of my neighbours lets me use their wifi. The signal can just be picked up using a wireless n dongle in 1 only room of the house.

Is it possible to use the wireless n dongle(that needs to recieve the wifi signal) or the other inbuilt wireless g connection to create a wireless hotspot on my Dell mini 9 laptop running xp.

I would like to boost the signal so that I could connect my Xoom.

You should be able to either bridge the connections or set up ICS through the laptop.

Though this doesn't instantly turn it into an AP, a la infrastructure mode. Depending on the hardware and driver features you might only be able to create an ad hoc network from the builtin wifi.
