Does anyone here use PortableApps?
I started it awhile back and it's killer. It has a list of software that's free and decent-enough, it keeps appdata separate, meaning you can carry all your stuff on a drive.
in C:\Users\Tony Williams\ I installed PortableDriveApps so there's C:\Users\Tony Williams\PortableApps (apps, etc) and straight in *\Tony Williams is the launcher to run but also it makes it's own *music, *photos, *documents but it does all 3 in Doc's like *\Documents\Music but Windows 8.1 does them all side-by-side so I deleted Windows's version (apart from Doc's) and linked them all to my PDA (PortableDriveApps)
I have my Windows 8.1 Start menu (want shot of) then RetroUI's one then a icon for PDA which is sorta a startmenu.
I am well into these Portable apps and base most of my software use on them. I moved my stuff into documents like I am picking out a few programs:
Notetaking: Evernote, Onedrive
Music: WinAMP, MediaMonkey
Money management:
